About the Studio and Gallery

I built the stdio in 1975 as a one story building. It is about 30 feet square. I used a lot of recycled materials that I obtained by taking down old buildings. I lived in the building, and Andrea and I both lived there for a short time until I built the first part of the house in 1980. About ten years later I had house movers lift the building 9 feet straight up. I then built a wall around the perimeter and under the chimney. Then they set it back down. I poured a concrete floor and put on new siding. The first floor is the gallery, the second floor is the studio.
