I have been a professional artist for more than 35 years. My work includes color woodcut prints, oil paintings, watercolors, ink wash paintings, drawings and murals. Although many of my ideas come from the area around my home and studio in Northeast Iowa I have traveled extensively looking for ideas. My travels include a 14 day raft trip through the Grand Canyon, a trip to Alaska, to China, to Japan as well as travels throughout the US and Canada. I am known for naturalistic landscapes that depict universal themes of people in nature.
