WELCOME
Carl Homstad has been an artist for over 30 years. His work includes color woodcut prints, oil paintings, watercolors and murals. Although many of his ideas come from the area around his home and studio in Northeast Iowa he has traveled extensively looking for ideas . His trips include a 14 day trip through the Grand Canyon, and a trip to China. He is known for his naturalistic landscapes that depict universal themes of people in nature.
The prices range from $.50 for a postcard, $60 for a mounted reproduction,
to $40-$220 for a mounted woodcut.The paintings and drawings cost $350 to $5,000 framed, and the fee for murals is $500 per day. His Studio is open by appointment. Web pages and all pictures © Homstad Studio 2004.
